USAID IQC HELD BY ECODIT AS A PRIME (SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE)

 

Prosperity, Livelihoods And Conserving Ecosystems (PLACE) (2006-2011)

Prime Contract No: EPP-I-00-06-00010-00

 

ECODIT is the only small-business holder of the PLACE IQC, which may be used by USAID Bureaus and Missions to provide technical assistance on a wide range of natural resource management (NRM) activities with the overarching goals of promoting transformational development, integrated landscape management, and scaling-up & sustaining impact within five key Natural Resource Management Categories: Biodiversity Conservation (terrestrial, freshwater and marine), Sustainable Forestry, Sustainable Tourism, Ecologically Sustainable Agriculture, and Provision of Ecosystem Services.  See list of NRM categories and other PLACE IQC Components below.

 

USAID has a small business (SB) utilization goal of 40 percent under the PLACE IQC.  USAID Bureaus and Missions may make a small business set-aside task order award directly to the ECODIT led consortium on a sole-source basis.  All other task orders would need to be competed among the five PLACE IQC holders.

ECODIT is a subcontractor to IRG on EPIQ II IQC, which covers technical assistance and services to USAID and its partners/beneficiaries across the environmental policy sector, including: environmental policy support, public-private partnerships, linking environment and economic growth, institutional strengthening, multilateral agreements, global climate change, impact assessments and policy program management and support.

Sustainable Urban Management II IQC (SUM II)

ECODIT is a subcontractor to PADCO, Inc. on SUM II IQC, which covers technical assistance and services to USAID and its partners/beneficiaries across the sustainable urban management sector, including: enhanced effectiveness, responsibility and accountability of local government organizations, enhanced environmental management practices, pollution control systems, and strategic planning and training.

Water II IQC (2004-2009)

ECODIT is a core subcontractor to PA Government Services for the Water II IQC, which is a vehicle for USAID and its partners/beneficiaries around the world to enhance the development and management of water resources in urban, rural and coastal areas through the technical fields of integrated water resources planning and management, including sophisticated engineering, modeling, monitoring, policy, law, finance, public information, training and conflict resolution.

ECODIT is a subcontractor to IRG on the Energy II IQC, which covers technical assistance and services to USAID and its partners/beneficiaries across the energy sector, including: energy planning, restructuring, regulatory development, and privatization; air pollution prevention and control; regional energy planning and trade; energy efficiency, utility management, and environmental resource management; rural energy services; global climate change; renewable energy; and technology transfer.

ECODIT is a subcontractor to The Services Group (TSG) for the Project Development, Project Management, Environmental and General Engineering Consulting Services IDIQ, Sub-sector of Industrial and Institutional Facilities, which covers consulting, advisory, assessment, monitoring and evaluation services in the areas of program development, independent engineering, economic analysis and environmental and social assessment for industrial parks, agricultural processing zones, housing, institutional facilities such as schools, hospitals, etc., which are candidates for funding by MCC.
