Under the Regional Governance and Knowledge Generation (ReGoKo) Project in Lebanon, ECODIT Liban conducted the Environmental Assessment Studies for two industrial establishments including Al Manara Dairy Factory (West Bekaa). 

In support of the future loan application to finance the pollution abatement system under LEPAP, ECODIT Liban conducted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of the new facility (including relocation) and the corresponding WWTP in line with EIA Decree (8633/2012) and World Bank OP 4.01 (Environmental Assessment). 

The ESIA provided an overview of the project, identified key potential project impacts, listed the necessary mitigation measures and defined the environmental monitoring and management plan required to prevent potential environmental impacts. The assessment was approved by MOE in 2015.
